Alcatel A5 LED was first unveiled at MWC 2017 while the A7 was launched at the recent IFA 2017. The A5 LED comes with a back cover that can be replaced with different mods like a battery pack. The Alcatel A7, on the other hand, features a better display and 4GB RAM for multitasking.

Starting with the Alcatel A5 LED, the phone features a 5.2-inch HD display (720 x 1280p). In the optics department, the A5 LED sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. On the front, you get a 5MP unit for selfies and video calling. In terms of hardware, the Alcatel A5 LED packs a MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, with an option to expand it via a microSD card. The Alcatel A7 is backed by an octa-core MediaTek MTK6750T processor. This processor is coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage along with expansion option via microSD card. Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the A7 sports a 4,000 mAh battery with Dual SIM support. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, Micro USB, and a 3.5mm earphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
The Alcatel A5 LED will come in Metallic Grey color and sells for Rs. 12,999. It comes with the Lightup+ Mod, and a 3,100 mAh Power+ Mod included in the box. The A7 is coming in Metallic Black and Metallic Gold colors and bears a price tag of Rs. 13,999. This phone includes a TCL Moveband fitness tracker in the launch package.
