The 7.0 and 8.0 monikers represent the display size. Both tablets sport 720p HD resolution displays protected by Gorilla Glass 4 on top and are running Android 5.0 Lollipop based ZenUI. The ZenPad 7.0 is powered by Intel Atom x3-C3230 quad-core 64-bit processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU aided with 1GB / 2GB RAM and 8GB / 16GB internal memory, expandable memory. Other features include 5MP Auto Focus rear camera, VGA camera, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 13Wh battery.

The ZenPad 8.0 on the other hand is powered by familiar Snapdragon 615 64 Bit cortex A53 based octa-core chip, paired with 1GB/ 2GB RAM and 8GB/16GB expandable storage depending on the variant you choose.

The rear 8 MP/5 MP camera can record 1080p full HD videos and an additional 2 MP front snapper is also present for selfies. ZenPad 8.0 also supports 4G LTE connectivity and includes a bigger 4000 mAh battery. Both tabs list DTS audio to please audiophiles.
