Both the smartphones were the cheapest smartphones to boast of a fingerprint sensor and were praised by the Indian consumers soon after their launch. Just to recall the specs, the Coolpad Note 3 is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor with a MediaTek MT6753 chipset and is accompanied by 3 GB RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage. The Note 3 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The optics include a 13 MP, f/2.0 rear facing camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing camera; both, featuring a CMOS image sensor. The phone also has a 3000 mAh battery and will support 4G. Futhermore, the phone has dual SIM slots.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite is powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core chipset which is clocked at 1.3GHz frequency, paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s own UI skin. In the camera department, the smartphone features a 13 MP, f/2.0 aperture autofocus camera and a 5 MP front-facing shooter. It has a 2500 mAh non-removable battery with up to 8 hours of talktime and will support 4G LTE. Furthermore, it has a dual micro SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and sensors such as gravity sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor and magnetic sensor.
