The ‘Like’ reaction button is similar to that of Facebook Messenger. A comment on Mr. Fulay’s tweet also disclosed certain new tweaks to Allo. The app has also received a Zoom and Blur feature for messages along with certain other things. This comment was confirmed by a reply from the Allo and Duo Head himself. So far this year, Google Allo has received some updates making it more interesting to use. We can expect the app to receive some refinements in the coming months. According to an earlier tweet, we can also expect the web and desktop version of Allo to come soon.

You can get answers directly in a chat window. The easy-response feature suggests automatic replies to messages. You can also doodle your images before sending. Google Allo also has GIF support and stickers. On the security front, you can use incognito mode to keep chats private and set them up for auto-deletion as well.
Some apps at par with Allo
Apart from Google Allo, Facebook Messenger offers almost all the services provided on Allo. Also, Facebook messenger is connected to one of the biggest social media platforms today. Facebook Messenger does not have a desktop app but has a web platform. Facebook recently released the lightweight Messenger Lite app for Indian market to make it easier to use on low-end phones and slow data connections. Another popular IM platform is WhatsApp. WhatsApp has received a number of updates and now has become much more than a messenger.
