As expected, Google will launch two models – Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. According to a report from Bloomberg, and leaked images on Twitter, one of the models, the Pixel 3 XL is expected to feature a nearly edge-to-edge screen with a notch on top. The regular model will have an 18:9 aspect display with no notch. Further, leakster Roland Quandt has shared via his twitter handle that Google is in talks with Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn to make the next generation Pixel phones. Previously, Google has partnered with LG, HTC for Pixel line-up, but for the first time, Google is said to be working with Foxconn as a manufacturer which is the same manufacturer that assembles iPhones.

Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL Design
According to a report, the company is planning to remove the bezels entirely on Pixel 3 XL smartphone, but it might retain the notch and chin to keep stereo speakers on the front of the phone. The notch at the top of the Pixel 3 XL’s screen won’t be as wide as on the iPhone X, but is noticeably taller, according to the people familiar with the development. Google has already announced a feature in upcoming Android version that will allow developers to build applications that work around the notch. If we talk about the smaller model, it will look similar to the Pixel 2 and won’t include the notch or edge-to-edge look. For other features, it is also reported that Google will include two front cameras on Pixel 3 XL inside the notch. However, the company will stick with a single rear camera lens like last year on both the phones. The company is also working on an upgraded Android OS that takes advantage of artificial intelligence capabilities. Google plans to roll out the new Pixel 3 phones in September-October just like the previous years.
