Processor used is .3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382 Cortex-A7 SoC aided by 1 GB RAM. The SoC has been a common sight in budget quad core tablets this year and can be considered a decent performer capable of handling the display resolution and basic tasks rather efficiently. Battery capacity is 3000 mAh, which doesn’t sound outright impressive. Considering the display size and SoC, the tablet is expected to last one day with low to moderate usage. HP claims up to 10 hours of mixed usage time.

Display and Other Features

The display is 6.95 inches in size with modest 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. The display is similar in sharpness to the likes of Asus Fonepad 7. In the same price bracket, you can consider tablets like Dell Venue 7 and Oplus Xonpad for HD resolution. The tablet has a SIM card slot for 3G connectivity. HP is also offering 1 year onsite warranty with this device. Software is Android 4.4.2 KitKat for rich Android experience. Other features include USB OTG, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity, GPS and A-GPS.
