The Taiwanese tech giant, HTC has been launching one handset after another for a couple of weeks. Continuing this launching spree HTC will soon be launching another smartphone, Desire 728G, in its ever expanding desire series of smartphones. Desire 728G will come at a price of INR 17,990. Speaking of HTC Desire 728G, it is a dual sim smartphone and is a variant of Desire 728, a dual sim smartphone unveiled in China earlier in October. Desire 728G features a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is packing an Octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocking 1.3 GHz coupled with an unusual 1.5 GB RAM. It will be running an older version of Android v5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense UI on top of it. There is no detail whether this smartphone will get the Android Marshmallow update or not and an older version of Android might be a huge turn off for many potential buyers. The internal storage capacity on this smartphone is 16 GB which can be expanded up to a massive 2 TB with microSD card. Desire 728G comes with HTC’s trademark BoomSound technology to deliver an awesome music experience, like other HTC handsets in the Desire series. This smartphone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. HTC Desire 728G is powered by a 2800 mAh battery underneath which claims to provide it a talk time of 21 hours and 485 hours of standby time.
