Design and Built

iBall CompBook has a screen size of 11.6-inches, its overall Dimensions are 29.1×20.3×2.4cm and it weighs just 1.09 kgs. The Build Quality is quite ordinary as expected but when we look at it with the price, then the build turns out just fine. It has a Plastic Body which will not be able to withstand any fall. The Top has a nice textured design for better grip, there is a CompBook logo in the center and an iBall branding on the corner which again looks quite ordinary.

On the bottom, there is plain finishing with a CompBook Sticker and four rubber nubs. There are dual speakers placed on the front but there is no opening for the Battery, so you will have to unscrew the back to reach the battery.

There is a 0.3 MP VGA Webcam on the front

And there is notification light for some functions at the top

Keyboard and Touchpad

iBall CompBook has a compact Qwerty Keyboard matching its size. There is some space between the keys, but fast typing can be difficult due to its small size. The built quality of the keys is not as good as a regular keyboard, and as usual it has an iBall logo on the “i” Key.

Talking about the touchpad, iBall CompBook has a big touchpad compared to the overall size of the laptop. But still the touchpad was not as impressive as we would want it to be; sometimes its response was very irritating.

Ports

iBall CompBook have just enough ports to meet the regular needs of the user. On the Left side it has a DC Charger Point, USB port and HDMI port.

On the Right side it has a 3.5mm combo jack for both mic and headphones, USB port and microSD card slot (up to 64 GB).

Performance & User Experience

iBall CompBook is powered by a Intel Atom Z3735F Quad Core processor clocked at 1.33GHz (1.83GHz Burst clock) with 2MB L2 cache. It comes with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card.

According to me, these specs are good for the price and the performance in real time is also impressive looking at the low-end hardware. You can easily get through business related tasks like using MS-Office, using web for mails and other tasks, or using it for entertainment. Aggressive users should not consider this, and if you love heavy games, then this one is not for you. So if you are looking for an inexpensive notebook for children or young college goers, this is a considerable choice.

Display and Sound

It features a 11.6-inches HD display with a screen resolution of 1366 X 768 pixels. The laptop is also available in Exemplaire variant with a screen size of 14 inch. Taking about the device in hand, it has a nice display for the price but still it is very basic and not suitable for professional needs. The viewing angles are also not very good but again they are fine for the price you have to pay.

Regarding the sound, it has Dual Speakers located at the bottom. The sound quality of the speakers is average but still dual speakers at this price is good. There is also a 3.5 mm jack for headphones.

Battery

iBall CompBook is backed by a 10000 mAh  Li-Polymer Battery which is very good for a small laptop. It can give over 8.5 hours of backup for continuous working. Although the battery is not placed outside with a clutch on, so it is only accessible if you unscrew the back.

Conclusion

To conclude iBall CompBook has a Gigantic 10000 mAh Battery, Windows 10 OS, Light Body, Good RAM and Storage, Nice speakers, Enough connectivity options and a very reasonable price. On the disadvantage side, the build is Fragile, Battery is Non-removable and Keyboard and Touchpad are below average. Thus, CompBook Excelance is not suitable for heavy professional users, it is appropriate for light tasks and multimedia activities basically for students.
