Update 17-6-2015: Infocus M350 has now been officially launched for 10,999 INR. It will be available starting from 26th June onwards without any required registration. Infocus will soon launch its third smartphone in India, the Infocus M350, priced at 7,999 INR. The launch invite suggests that the phone is just 3.5 mm thick around the edges and flaunts a ‘curvier’ design. The handset is out of stock, but listed with the price tag already on Snapdeal. We might see a lower final price when the phone becomes official on Thursday.
Infocus M350 has a 5 Inch IPS LCD display with 720p HD resolution and is powered by MT6595 octa core SoC ticking at 1.5 GHz. The chipset is the direct rival of low cost Snapdragon 410 quad core, with four 64 bit Cortex A53 cores and Mali T760 GPU. We haven’t had much experience with the chipset yet, but online reviews are quite positive. Other features of dual SIM Infocus M350 include, 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and F2.2 lens, 8 MP front camera, again with wide aperture lens, 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, USB OTG and 4G LTE connectivity.
Recommended: Infocus M330 with 5.5 Inch HD Display and Octa Core at 9,999 INR
There is a 2500 mAh battery inside, which contributes its part to the 146 grams of heft of the curvaceous Infocus M350. Operating system is Android 5.0 KitKat, which feels bland today, especially to anyone who as tasted Lollipop. We will get to test if the new Infocus M350 is about style, substance or both, when the phone goes official on Thursday, 18th June, 2015.
