Update: 19/3/2011 Karbonn Titanium Hexa has been priced at 16,900 INR. The RAM capacity is 2 GB and the front camera has a 5 MP sensor. The chipset is MT6591, which makes Karbonn Titanium Hexa the first phone to feature MediaTek Hexa Core processor. The internal storage is 16 GB and can be further extended using MicroSD support. Desi manufacturers have jumped on the octa core bandwagon, but do we really need 8 cores? Well Karbonn has an alternative. The domestic manufacturer has presented its Hexa core smartphone in its popular titanium series – the Karbonn Titanium Hexa. The phone has surfaced on the company web page and is expected to be official today.

The phone comes with a 5.5 inch LTPS display with 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution. The operating system is latest Android 4.4 KitKat and that does make this phone stand apart from the competition. The Hexa core processor is clocked at 1.5 GHz. Chipset details have not been specified yet. The phone might feature Exynos 5 Hexa 5260 chipset unveiled at MWC, but most likely it will come with MediaTek MT6591 Hexa core which is still unofficial. The primary shooter has a 13 MP sensor and is supported by LED flash. The battery capacity is 2050 mAh.
