The Lenovo A7000 and Yureka are identical with a 5.5 inch display that carries a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels resulting in 267 ppi pixel density. The latter is better with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that will withstand scratches and damage to a great extent. In terms of processor, the Lenovo smartphone incorporates a 1.5 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6752M processor and Yureka comes equipped with an octa core Snapdragon 615 processor. Both the smartphones make use of 2 GB of RAM for excellent multitasking. Notably, the Lenovo smartphone running on Android Lollipop makes use of the 64 bit processing support making it more competent.

Battery and Features
Lenovo A7000 appears to be a better one in this segment with a relatively juicier 2,900 mAh battery in comparison to the 2,500 mAh battery in the Yureka that should also be capable of pumping in decent hours of backup.

Again, on the software front, the Lenovo offering runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop preinstalled and wrapped with Vibe UI 2.0. The Yureka is based on CyanogenMod 11S and it recently received the Android 5.0 Lollipop based CyanogenMod 12S update. The A7000 is equipped with the Dual Atmos feature that is better.

Price and Conclusion
Both the Lenovo 7000 and Yureka priced at Rs 8,999 are advanced offerings with 4G LTE connectivity in the entry level market segment. When it comes to user experience, both the handsets will differ largely as they run on different platforms. Otherwise, they are given decent specifications with the Lenovo smartphone excelling in terms of battery backup and the Yureka in terms of imaging.
