Initial Impressions

LG opting for Mediatek chipset is slightly confusing, as the previous version of the phone came with a Snapdragon processor under the hood. Nevertheless, Mediatek MT6750 is powerful processor and has four extra cores compared to Snapdragon 410. Also, there has been a considerable upgrade in the RAM segment; the Stylus 3 comes with 3GB RAM, i.e., 1.5 GB more than Stylus 2. Fingerprint addition is icing on the cake. However, display resolution still stuck at HD in 2017 for a 5.7-inch phone, which is a little low for a mid-range phone. LG has not revealed any pricing and availability details yet. We should know more closer to the India launch.
