Micromax has come up with yet another updated variant of its famous Canvas 2 smartphone. The Micromax Canvas 2 colours A120 has appeared on the official website of Micromax and the good thing is, that it will be available in yellow, black, green, blue and red colour options.
Micromax Canvas 2 colours A120 has a 5 inch IPS HD which is expected to displays vibrant images. The IPS screen takes the viewing experience to a whole new level with better viewing angles and colour depth. The phone has a resolution of 1280 x 720 with a pixel density of 293 ppi. Micromax Canvas 2 colours A120 has 1.3 Ghz quad core MediaTek MT6582 powerhouse unlike its predecessor with dual core under its hood. The processor is backed by 1 GB RAM and MALI 400 GPU for graphics support. The phone has standard 4 GB internal storage with micro SD support up to 32 GB.
An 8 MP Autofocus camera is placed at the rear and the front 2 MP shooter with fixed focus sports the front of the phone. The phone supports dual sim and is 3G, Wi-Fi enabled. Canvas 2 colours A120 also comes with Bluetooth v 4.0 and USB 2.0 for connectivity support. The phone runs on Android v 4.2 and houses a 2000 mAh which gives enough juice to support the 5 incher. The battery gives average talk time of approx. 7 hours and Standby time of 225 hours which is again average. Canvas 2 colours A120 is a much improved version than its predecessor and packs in much more heat as far as the specs are considered. Lava recently came out with Lava Iris 450 Colour which had many interchangeable back panels. Micromax has worked on similar lines to provide colour options to the consumers. This marks a change in trend where Indian manufacturers are looking to improve the aesthetics of their smartphones and are not just busy beefing up the hardware. The phone is expected to be available for purchase soon enough for a price in the vicinity of 10,000 INR.
