Microsoft, however, officially stopped offering free upgrades to Windows 10 in July last year. Still, some users who were using accessibility features got an extension of that promotional offer, and it is available even now. To explain, accessibility features in Windows are options to help users who may face trouble using the windows on their systems normally. So, they can use the feature to upgrade the windows. Initially, Microsoft introduced Windows 10 as a free upgrade to all users until July 2016. However, accessibility feature allowed users to upgrade freely to Windows 10 until now. Microsoft announced that time, “We are not restricting the free upgrade offer to specific assistive technologies. If you use assistive technology on Windows, you are eligible for the free upgrade offer.” Now, according to Microsoft accessibility page, “If you use assistive technologies, you can upgrade to Windows 10 at no cost as Microsoft continues our efforts to improve the Windows 10 experience for people who use these technologies. Please take advantage of this offer before it expires on December 31, 2017.” So, if you haven’t upgraded to Windows 10 yet, you should immediately do it using the accessibility services and get your free version of Windows 10. If you choose to upgrade an old Windows version to Windows 10 after December 31, you will have to pay for it. Microsoft has also started rolling out the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update last month. The update brings several new features to the windows platform. Some of the new features include Fluent Design System, Story Remix for easy video editing, a cloud-powered Clipboard, and OneDrive Files On-Demand, among others.
