Moto G (Quick Review) has been designed to provide premium in budget range for emerging markets. The much aviated phone is already a steal with a price tag of $179 for 8 GB variant and $199 for 16 GB variant. According to sources at Times of India, the phone will finally reach India by the end of this month. Motorola has chosen to remain tight lipped on the India price yet but we are hoping the 8 GB variant to be priced around 15 K mark. The Moto G features a 4.5 inch display with 720 p HD resolution which amounts to 329 pixels per inches and will run on new and fancy Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box! The Phone is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core processor which comes on Snapdragon 400 SoC, but will not have krait 300 cores, as are expected in Snapdragon 400 processors. The Cores will be based on Cortex A7 architecture. The Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB RAM will provide you with smooth UI transitions.

The primary camera comes with a 5 MP sensor which doesn’t seem impressive at this price range. However, the camera quality is much more than the MP count. A front camera with 1.3 MP sensor is also present for video calling. The battery capacity is 2070 mAh which acc to Motorola will comfortably last one whole day and will last 33 percent longer than iPhone 5s on 3G. The connectivity features include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0, GPS and GLONASS. Two months is a very long time in Tech years and it has been so since Moto G was announced in November last year. Timely release of Moto G will only improve its success aspects in India. Motorola closed its operations in India and comeback has its share of complications. We hope the launch date doesn’t get any more delayed.
