The Notion Ink hybrid device Cain 10 is given a 10 inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixel resolution and scratch resistant glass. The device is equipped with a quad core Intel Atom Z3735F chipset with four cores and a clock speed ranging between 1.33 GHz and 1.83 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. The hybrid device has 32 GB of internal storage capacity and it can be expanded externally up to 64 GB using a micro SD card. The Cain 10 supports connecting up to 500GB HDD and features USB 3.0 mode and 1TB HDD in USB 2.0 mode. A 7,900 mAh battery powers the hybrid offering delivering a decent backup to it. When it comes to the Cain 8 tablet, the Windows 8.1 based slate boasts of an 8 inch IPS display with 1280×800 resolution and scratch resistant glass. It comes with an indentical processor as in the Cain 10, but it is paired with 1 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of default memory capacity that can be expanded further up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The slate supports USB OTG, 3G connectivity, dual 2 MP cameras and a 4,000 mAh battery. Both the devices are based on Windows 8.1 operating system and they come with one year subscription of Microsoft Office 365 and unlimited OneDrive cloud storage space.
