— Pete Lau (@PeteLau) May 31, 2017 The saddest part is that neither OnePlus 2 nor OnePlus X has completed the two-year mark. Thus it is quite unfortunate that the company is not paying attention to them. However, the OnePlus 2 was recently spotted running an official ROM based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This gives us some hope that the predecessor of the OnePlus 3 might get the Nougat update soon.

OnePlus is currently gearing up for the launch of its latest flagship – OnePlus 5. This will be the best phone made by the Chinese company till date. The OnePlus 5 is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC. The phone will boast a dual camera setup. A new report suggests that the successor of the OnePlus 3T may be the thinnest flagship smartphone ever. However, we aren’t sure if the comparison is made with all the handsets around the world or just OnePlus devices.

With the release date of the OnePlus 5 set at June 15, 2017, the company has already started to discontinue the OnePlus 3T. This is similar to the way OnePlus 3 was phased out when the 3T came. However, in India, both the OnePlus 3 and 3T are continuing to be sold. In fact, lately, there has been some discount and cashback offers running on the duo.
