The Oppo R5s is pretty much the same phone except that it comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of Internal storage which can be expanded to 128 GB. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor with a Adreno 405 GPU and runs on ColorOS 2.0 (based on Android 4.4) which when coupled with the additional RAM should make multi-tasking a breeze in the park. The R5s sports a 13 MP rear camera (Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor) with LED flash that comes with Auto-focus and supports full HD 1080p video recording. On the front is more-than-sufficient 5 MP camera which beefs up the quality on those video calls and selfies. It retains the original stainless steel micro-arc frame which is attributed to its light weight of 155 gms. The AMOLED display is 5.2 inches and comes with a full HD resolution of 1920x1080 with Corning Glass protection. The battery remains the same with a non-removable 2000 mAh Li-Po battery which can charge to 75% in around 30 minutes with its VOOC Flash Charge. Noticeably absent in the Oppo R5s is the default 3.5 mm audio jack (as was the case in the previous R5) although it does come with the Micro USB to 3.5 mm converter in the package. Other connectivity features are support for 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and USB OTG (On The Go). [table id=52 /]

While the Indian website has no mention of the Oppo R5s yet, it’s listed on the European website and is expected to retail shortly for approximately €200 or $225 which makes it a good proposition for the hardware it packs. Would you consider buying it?
