According to a leaked video, OPPO Reno will come with an unusual front camera design. It will be a pop-up selfie camera but it will raise diagonally on the top of the phone. Moreover, the company may launch two versions of this phone- one with dual cameras at the back and another one with triple rear cameras with the 10x lossless zoom that was showcased at the MWC 2019. The case images of OPPO Reno were also leaked that reveal a big cutout on the front for the pop-up mechanism. The bottom will have USB type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. While the back will have the dual-cameras. It is not clear if it will use a side-mounted or an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Detailed specs of the standard edition of OPPO Reno are leaked on TENAA. As per the leak, it will sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+(2340×1080 pixels) AMOLED display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 710 10nm processor with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It will run on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top. Connectivity option it will include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and USB Type-C. It will pack a 3680mAh battery with fast charging support. In terms of camera, it will use a 48MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, and a 5MP secondary camera. There will be a 16MP front camera with LED flash. The device might include an in-display fingerprint sensor. OPPO VP has also confirmed that the standard version, powered by Snapdragon 710 SoC, will come with heat-conducting gel and graphite sheet for heat dissipation. While the top end version powered by Snapdragon 855 will come with a copper tube and liquid cooling and also it will also feature the 10x loss-less zoom.
