Xiaomi is has officially launched the Redmi Note 3 today in India. The Redmi Note 3 India edition is priced at INR 9,999 for 2 GB and INR 11,999 for the 3 GB variant. It will be available for purchase from 9th March onwards.  We got lucky to try our hands on the latest Redmi smartphone and we have come some answers to the most common consumer queries.

Question- How is Design and Build Quality? Answer- The Redmi Note 3 comes packed in a good quality aluminum unibody, along with rounded edges. The body language is quite similar to what we saw in Meizu MX5. It has a 4050 mAh battery which adds slight bulk to the body but it still manages to look good and feel solid. It looks premium and does feel solid in hand.

However, when we tried to charge it with a fast charger it did not charge quickly. Question- How Much Free Internal Storage is Available to User? Question- How is the Call quality? Answer- The call quality is good, the voice was clear and the network reception was also great. Question- How good is The Camera Quality of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3? Answer- While the cameras on the Redmi Note 3 don’t suppose a major selling point for the device in and of themselves, truth is we do appreciate a good set of cameras. Obviously they cannot be compared to iPhones and Galaxy S7 but they’re still quite impressive. It has a 16 MP rear camera with PDAF and a 5 MP front camera which are good for outdoor photography and also offer a lot of interesting modes to play with.

Answer- Yes, it can be connected to a Bluetooth headset. Question- How is the Gaming Performance? Answer- Redmi Note 3 is really good for gaming. We installed the best of the games on this device, including Nova 3 and Asphalt 8. Both the games were easily playable at medium level graphics, no lag and heating issues were notice. Question- Mobile Hotspot Internet Sharing Supported? Answer- Yes, you can create hotspot to share internet from this device.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a top-notch build quality; the display offers deep blacks and looks amazing even from different angles. The phone’s performance and the battery backup is something that the Indian consumers will definitely praise. For a price of INR 9,999 or INR 11,999, Redmi Note 3 is a worthy upgrade over the previous version of this phone.
