As per the filing, Jio took 83 days to reach 50 million subscribers and reached 100 million in 170 days. At an average, the company added 6 lakh subscribers per day. As per Jio, its users consume 110 crore GB of data per month and use roughly 220 crore minutes of voice and video calls. The total sales of Jio’s Lyf smartphones and JioFi dongle stood at 10 million. The company sold 2.6 million units in the period of January to March. The company also confirmed that it is undertaking trials of the broadband in some cities and will expand the trials to more cities very soon. Speaking of Jio Home Broadband, it is a high-speed wired internet service which is currently being tested for commercial launch in India. Featuring speeds of up to 1 Gbps, it will bring new horizons to the India’s internet usage. Being a product of Reliance Jio, we highly expect the prices to be well within the reach pf common people.
