As per leaked images, the company will launch a black color round set top box which may be connected to fiber or dish. The set top box comes with a glossy finish. There is a Jio logo on the remote, indicating that the testing may be in its final stages. The remote control also comes with a mic button, indicating that it could come with voice controlled features. There is also a Jio button, suggesting integration of existing Jio services with Jio DTH. For connectivity options, the Jio Set top box comes with an S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format) port, an ethernet port, an HDMI port, and also a USB port.

We expect the Jio DTH to be priced competitively and it may be available free for a limited period of time. Jio is currently offering FTTH services in some cities. The service is free for the first three months but customers will have to pay Rs. 4,500 for router and installation. Currently, users are getting between 70 to 100 Mbps speed. Jio Fiber is expected to be launched around April this year.
