According to a tweet by Twitter bound Micromax insider @MMXNewscaster, the vendor is geared up to introduce the Micromax A190 boasting a 5 inch HD display with a resolution 1280×720 pixels. It is said that the handset will arrive stuffed with a 1.5 GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. Fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the tweet suggests that the device will feature an 8 MP main camera with LED flash, 2 MP front-facer, 8 GB of internal storage space and a 2,000 mAh battery to power it from within. The source is well known for revealing authentic information of what we can expect from the homegrown manufacturer. While its Twitter handle was closed sometime back, the leakster has come back with a bang. Micromax is not the first one to launch a hexa-core based smartphone as other native players such as Xolo and Karbonn have already come up with similar offerings named Xolo Play 6x-1000 and Karbonn Titanium Hexa using the same MediaTek MT6591 chipset. While the specifications of the Micromax A190 are known, there is no word on when the handset will be announced officially.
