Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) Specifications
The Galaxy J3 (2017) is expected to sport a metal back with plastic inserts on the top and bottom. The phone looks a lot similar to the recently leaked Galaxy J5 (2017) and J7 (2017). Coming to the specifications, the Galaxy J3 (2017) is just a minor improvement over the Galaxy J3 (2016). The former sports a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS LCD panel. This is actually a downgrade from the Super AMOLED display of the present generation Galaxy J3.
Moving inside, the Samsung Exynos 7570 powers up the Galaxy J3 (2017). The 64-bit quad-core processor is manufactured using the advanced 14 nm FinFET process. It packs four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz each. A single core Mali T720 GPU handles the graphics. Memory-wise, the brand new smartphone sports 2 or 3 GB of RAM combined with 16 GB of onboard storage. There is a micro SD card slot too. The J3 (2017) runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with out of the box support for split screen. There is a 13 MP camera at the back of the latest handset. It can record Full HD (1080 x 1920) videos at up to 30 fps. The selfie camera is a standard 5 MP unit. Coming to connectivity, the Galaxy J3 (2017) supports 4G LTE as well as VoLTE along with the usual options. A 2600mAh battery will juice up the phone. Samsung is expected to release the J3 (2017) along with the J5 (2017) and J7 (2017) in the coming months. All three smartphones will be available in India.
