While the pricing of the soon to be announced Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones in the country remains unknown for now, it looks like they will be going on sale from April 10. Of course, there should be pre-orders for the device before its official release, but Samsung has to confirm on the same. Notably, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are very different from the previous Galaxy S smartphones launched by the firm. They have complete unique design and the Galaxy S6 Edge arrives with dual side displays that curve till the back.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge arrive with 5.1 inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display with the only difference being the dual side displays on the Galaxy S6 Edge as mentioned above. Both the devices employ a 64 bit Exynos 7420 octa core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. The handsets lack expandable storage support and come in three different storage options such as 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. There is a 16 MP main snapper on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge with OIS and other superior camera features. Also, there is a 5 MP main camera for video conferencing and clicking self portrait shots. The handsets are preinstalled with Android 5.0 Lollipop topped with revamped TouchWiz UI that is free of bloatware. The smartphones differ slightly in terms of battery as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge include 2,550 mAh and 2,600 mAh batteries respectively to keep things juiced up.
