The latest phone from Samsung was certified by TENAA, the Chinese certification authority back in May. Apart from dual 4.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED displays, it has a 12-megapixel camera and a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

The dual-SIM (hybrid) phone comes with two 4.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED displays. One of the displays is on the inside and the other one is on the outside.
There are no details about the Android version. It could run Marshmallow as mentioned on the TENAA website or it may also run Nougat when it is available. Powering the smartphone is a quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with two cores clocked at 2.15GHz and the other two clocked at 1.6GHz. The Samsung SM-G9298 packs 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. In terms of camera, the Samsung SM-G9298 sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED Flash and PDAF. It also features a 5-megapixel front camera with the f/1.9 aperture for taking selfies. The connectivity options offered by the Samsung SM-G9298 include 4G connectivity, micro USB, USB 2.0, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, and GPS. The phone is powered by a 2300mAh battery that is said to provide a standby time of about 68 hours. Other notable features offered by the smartphone include Samsung Pay, S Voice, and Secure Folder. The sensors on the SM-G9298 include a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, barometer, and gyroscope.
Pricing and Availability
Samsung has not announced the pricing of the smartphone yet. It will be made available with China Mobile in the China initially and there is no information about its availability in other countries. The phone comes in Black color only.
