The Xiaomi Mi Pad is an impressive 7.9 Inch display tablet with uses the powerful Nvidia Tegra K1 quad core CPU with Cortex A15 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and extremely powerful Kepler GPU. The chipset includes 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which can be augmented by another 128 GB using MicroSD card support. Display resolution is 1536 x 2048 pixels which pushes the pixel density to 324 pixels per inches. There is Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top, so you don’t have to worry much about daily wear and tear. The rear 8 MP Sony BSI sensor camera can record 1080p videos, though many won’t be using the large form factor for primary photography. A 5 MP f2.0 wide aperture front snapper is also present for sulfides. Battery capacity is 6700 mAh, and Xiaomi claims you can enjoy 11 hours of uninterrupted media content on a single charge. Other features include WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB OTG. Mi Pad measures 202 x 135.4 x 8.5 mm and weighs 360 grams. Xiaomi Mi Pad will start selling from 24 March onwards. Xiaomi will be selling the white color variant in India.
