Last year Xiaomi launched Mi 5X as the Mi A1 which was the first Android One smartphone from the company. Now, the Mi 6X which was launched in China a couple of months ago is expected to be launched as the Mi A2 Android One smartphone. The upcoming smartphone has been listed on a Swiss portal with most of its features revealed.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Price
As per the listing on Switzerland-based website Digitec, the Mi A2 32GB storage variant has been priced at CHF 289 (Rs. 19,800 approx.). While the 64GB model has been listed at CHF 329 (roughly Rs. 22,500). Lastly, the 128GB storage variant comes at a price tag of CHF 369 (Rs. 25,200 approx). The Xiaomi Mi A2 has been listed in Black, Blue, and Gold colors.
According to the Swiss website, the Xiaomi Mi A2 is going on sale starting August 8, 2018, in Switzerland. However, this isn’t official date and there is no word on the device’s global launch as of now.
Xiaomi Mi A2 expected specifications
As per the listing, the Xiaomi Mi A2 is an Android One smartphone that runs Android 8.1 Oreo. It is expected to sport the same 5.99-inch FHD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display as the Mi 6X. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It will come in three storage options – 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.
In the camera department, the Mi A2 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP+20MP sensors. There will be a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The device packs a 3010mAh battery under the hood with Quick Charge 3.0 support. For connectivity, it has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C options.
