It was the third sales day for Xiaomi Mi3 and the stock crisis persists. Xiaomi was all set to retail 15,000 Mi3 units on Flipkart and if you were expecting the extra 5,000 units to hold the line additional time, you were wrong as the phone went out of stock in just 1 Second!
That’s really disappointing for several Mi fans who logged in several hours before, all prepped up to battle the odds, but were unsuccessful yet again. As always, fuming outraged fans have taken to Social Media to express their rage. Judging by the demand, it’s not very likely that buying a Xiaomi Mi3 will be a feasible option for many more months. Flipkart stated that it made more than 1,50,000 registrations which is less than 2,50,000 registrations on last sales day. Xiaomi has definitely hurt sentiments of Indian buyers willing to pay, but we are not sure if that shall be enough to shadow the “great value for money” aspect of Xiaomi Mi3. Meanwhile Xiaomi has become the Fifth largest smartphone vendor in entire world and that’s no mean feat. The company follows a policy of selling devices at cost and their margin increases as the price of components decrease. This also means that they can’t manufacture in bulk for everyone and have to maintain a high demand through out the launch cycle. Just in case you are new to Xiaomi Saga, the well known Xiaomi Mi3 brings 2.3 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 800 beast to a very affordable price range. The chipset includes Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage to give you great user experience. Storage is however not expandable. The display is 5 Inches in size with full HD resolution powered by a 3050 mAh battery. Head on to Xiaomi Mi3 full review for more
