To give a brief recap, the Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. While the phone was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is now being updated to MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. For all intents and purposes, the Redmi Note 4 will not see another Android OS update, but it should continue to receive MIUI updates.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with three memory options 2GB/32GB, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, with an option to expand the internal storage using a microSD card. As for the cameras, the Redmi Note 4 features a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash, while there is a 5MP camera on the front. Other features of the phone include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and Infrared. The phone is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery.
