Xolo Q900s Plus features the same sized display but with 4 times the resolution (qHD vs HD). The 4.7 Inch HD display uses IPS LCD OGS technology for better responsiveness and wider viewing angles. The display is also protected by Dragon Trail scratch resistant glass on top. The processor used is Snapdragon 200 quad core clocked at 1.2 GHz aided by Adreno 302 GPU clocked at 400 MHz. The budget snapdragon chipset is paired with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage, which can be further expanded by another 32 GB using MicroSD card. Software is Android 4.4 KitKat. For photography there is an 8 MP PureCel Camera on the rear surface, with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera for basic video calling. The battery capacity is 1800 mAh which sounds about average. Other features include dual SIM support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. For a price of 8,299 INR, Xolo Q900s Plus offers decent hardware including HD display, Android KitKat and 1 GB RAM. It is a minor upgrade from Xolo Q900s with the only difference being increase in resolution. Since the same chipset has to drive 4 times as many pixels we would like to see how much difference that makes in overall performance and battery life.
